Research Centre
The Research Centre of the Institution promotes a strong research culture among faculty and students in alignment with the guidelines of AICTE and Anna University. The Centre facilitates interdisciplinary research, innovation, and consultancy in emerging areas of science, engineering, and technology.
It provides access to research infrastructure, laboratories, digital resources, and academic support for Ph.D. scholars and faculty members. The Research Centre encourages outcome-oriented research, ethical practices, and societal relevance, contributing to knowledge creation, capacity building, and academic excellence.
Sponsored Projects
The Institution actively undertakes sponsored research and consultancy projects funded by government agencies, research organizations, and industry partners. Faculty members are encouraged to submit proposals to funding bodies such as AICTE, DST, DRDO, MSME, and other recognized agencies.
Sponsored projects promote applied research, innovation, and industry-relevant problem solving. They enhance faculty competence, student involvement, and institutional research output while contributing to national development goals. Transparent financial management and timely reporting are ensured as per sponsoring agency norms.
Industry Collaboration
The Institution maintains strong industry collaborations to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industries support internships, industrial training, joint research, guest lectures, and curriculum enrichment.
Patents & Publications
Faculty and students are encouraged to publish research findings in reputed journals and conferences. The Institution promotes intellectual property creation through patent filing, copyrights, and technology transfer. These initiatives strengthen innovation, research visibility, and professional readiness, aligning academic outcomes with industry and societal needs.
