Overview

The Diploma in Agricultural Engineering is a skill-oriented programme, started in 2023, affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamil Nadu, aimed at supporting the mechanization and technological advancement of the agriculture sector. The department is equipped with well-established laboratories such as Farm Machinery, Soil and Water Engineering, Irrigation Systems, Renewable Energy, Agricultural Processing, and Basic Civil Engineering, with modern tools and equipment as prescribed by DOTE norms.

The programme adopts best academic practices including outcome-based education, continuous assessment, mentoring, and project-based learning.
