Established in 2012, the Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the flagships. The department is built on a strong foundation of academic excellence, industry relevance, and hands-on technical training, aimed at producing highly skilled, innovative, and industry-ready mechanical engineers.
The department boasts a dynamic blend of experienced, highly qualified, and motivated faculty members, including Ph.D. holders, with expertise across core mechanical engineering domains. With state-of-the-art laboratories, modern workshops, and advanced software tools, students gain strong practical exposure alongside theoretical excellence.
Our focus extends beyond academics—students are trained in discipline, professionalism, leadership, and innovation to meet the ever-evolving demands of the global engineering industry.

The CAD & CAM Labs are powered with the latest industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER, and ANSYS, ensuring students stay ahead in design and simulation technologies.

A dedicated computer lab with 36 terminals and LCD projection facilities, modern tutorial rooms, and spacious smart classrooms further enhance the learning environment.

Industry Exposure & Skill Development

The department places strong emphasis on industry interaction and career readiness:

  • Regular guest lectures, workshops, FDPs, seminars, and conferences conducted by industry experts and academicians
  • Industrial visits to expose students to real-time manufacturing and production environments
  • Placement-oriented training programs starting from the third semester
  • Encouragement for participation in technical competitions, conferences, and extracurricular activities
